Pilot study of the farm and non-farm incomes of randomly selected farmers in mainland Greece in order to test the feasibility of obtaining such data, to obtain an objective demonstration for CAP reformulation and to record in detail the experience gained in its collection. Two reports were produced, one giving the results obtained in tabular form and the other providing a detailed account of the methodology employed, the questionnaires and field staff training manuals used and the cost of the operation. Recommendations aimed at reducing costs and improving the efficiency of data collection during similar surveys in the future were also provided.
